Barbara Weller, is a Partner in Broad Think, a branding company in Los Angeles, and is a proven media/communications specialist who has launched new publications and created television and video programs. Simultaneously, she has run her own consulting firm specializing in content and product development and affinity marketing. She successfully created and launched new "affinity" clubs, membership publications, direct mail campaigns, merchandise catalogues; directed quantitative research projects and branding programs; and consulted on database marketing projects.
Her journalism career began as a feature writer at various newspapers until she became the Features Editor at the Miami News. In Chicago, she served as the Features Editor, Entertainment Editor and Sunday Magazine Editor of the Chicago Sun-Times. Her remarkable track record in creating and establishing new features and syndicated columns for the newspaper has been widely recognized. As Promotions and Marketing Services Director at the Sun-Times, she created all of its advertising and promotional campaigns. She developed television programming for ABC and HGTV, and produced videos for Price Waterhouse and others.
