Veteran Screenwriter and Producer, James V. Hart, Launches HartChart™ Software at Austin Film Festival 2015
James V. Hart, is the Screenwriter and storyline/concept creator behind such motion pictures as the Stephen Spielberg classic, Hook, Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula, Frankenstein, Muppet Treasure Island, Contact, Tuck Everlasting, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle of Life, Sahara, August Rush, and Epic. For nearly three decades, Jim has taught master classes at film festivals, institutes and universities throughout the world. He has also been an industry leader and advocate in the Writers Guild of America throughout this time. He launched the release of the HartChart™ Software at the 2015 Austin Film Festival (www.austinfilmfestival.com), a writer's festival for which the HartChart™ is a sponsor.
The HartChart™ is a story-mapping tool to track the emotions of characters and their journeys. It helps writers to visualize the rise and fall of their characters as they make choices and proceed through the story.
