Members of the International Animated Film Society (IAFS) nominated Kahlil Gibran's The Prophet for three different industry Annie Awards. See: www.annieawards.org The film's Editors, Jennifer Dolce and Ernesto Matamoros, were nominated for Editing in an Animated Feature, its Director, Roger Allers for Directing in an Animated Feature, and the producers of the film for Best Animated Independent Feature. William Nix, Chairman of CPG, was an Executive Producer of the film, a nine-year journey from the time he negotiated with the Gibran National Committee in Lebanon and secured the rights to make the film, based upon the classic work of Gibran (see: www.en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Prophet_%28book%29), to the time it reached these Awards. During the Fall of 2015, he also produced a biographical play, Rest Upon the Wind, at the NYU Skirball Theatre in Manhattan (www.thegibranplay.com), which is expected to tour North America in the 2016-2017 Season. He is currently producing a biographical feature film, entitled Gibran, slated to start principal photography in late 2016 with theatrical release expected during 2017 (www.thegibranfilm.com). These media ventures have been supported by an Educational Curriculum Guide developed by Journeys in Film,for which Liam Neeson (the voice of Mustafa in the film) is the national spokesperson, and which is allied with USC's Rossier School of Education (www.rossier.usc.edu), and Participant Media.
