Aan de voertuigzijde gaat de kabel rechtstreeks op de TCM connector van de VL381 eenheid, dus op de transmissie zelf of op de losgenomen eenheid, en niet op de OBD2 poort in de auto. De Temic VL381 (0AW) is binnen het Volkswagen concern toegepast als transmissie met
