William Nix will be presenting and moderating a Panel on Piracy vs. Privacy: How to Balance Rights in an Era of Online Copyright Infringement at the 4th Anti-Piracy and Content Protection Summit on June 26, 2013 in Los Angeles. The Panel will present an overview on Digital Search and Seizure Procedures and Litigation, Domestic (SOPA, PIPA) and International (ACTA) Developments and Initiatives as well as practical drafting guidance in respect to Privacy Disclosures, Mobile Apps, and Social Media, including tips for compliance with the new FTC and California Attorney General's Office Guidelines in these areas.
Also participating on the Panel will be representatives from the Electronic Privacy Information Center (EPIC) and the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EEF) as well as from the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA).
