Eric S. Philo, Board of Advisors

philo3 Eric Philo is a Managing Director at Avalon Worth, an investment bank in New York. He started his career at Goldman, Sachs, where he spent 13 years as a senior equity securities analyst following media companies. He also served in senior positions at Brompton Cross Capital Advisors, a long/short hedge fund, Shopkorn Associates, a family office/hedge fund, and Jennison Associates, a money manager serving institutions and individuals. Mr. Philo's particular focus is media, internet and telecommunications, although he has broad experience across many industries.

Rob Shalhoub, Board of Advisors

Rob is a business strategist and creative producer whose work spans film and television, experiential entertainment, digital media, and technology. As a strategic consultant, he has helped raise more than $25 million in equity and debt capital for various independent productions and startup ventures. As an independent writer and producer, Rob created and sold scripted comedy series “Homeland Insecurity” (Sony Pictures / CBS), unscripted docu-series “Petit Tresor” (Style Network), and biopic “Gibran” (Creative Projects Group). He launched, produced, and promoted immersive entertainment experiences such as “I Like Scary Movies” (Warner Bros / New Line), “Tour Pick Tequila Lounge” (Rolling Stones / Jose Cuervo), “Pan Am Experience” (Pan Am). For nearly twenty years, Rob has consulted on hundreds of major film and television productions including “Kill Bill” (Miramax), “Red Eye” (Dreamworks), “Moneyball” (Sony), “The Wolf of Wall Street” (Paramount), “Bridesmaids” (Universal), “House” (NBCUniversal), “Grey’s Anatomy” (ABC), “Scandal” (ABC), “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (FX Television), and “Ray Donovan” (Showtime). Rob graduated from Tufts University with a degree in International Relations. He currently lives in Simi Valley, California with his wife and three children.

Steve Solot, Board of Advisors

He is founder and former President of the Latin American Training Center (LATC), www.latamtrainingcenter.com a regional media training and consulting center in Rio de Janeiro, specialized in creative training programs for audiovisual content producers in Latin America and Spain. LATC is affiliated with FORCINE, the Brazilian Association of Film and Television Schools, and maintains formal agreements with: IFTA-Los Angeles (Independent Film and Television Alliance) Foundation, NALIP-Los Angeles (National Assn. of Latino Independent Producers) and various law firms in Latin America and the US.

Odette Springer, Board of Advisors

Odette Springer is an independent film producer and classically trained composer/lyricist. She started playing piano at the age of three and began writing songs at the age of thirteen. She has been published by Bourne Co., United Artists, EMI and has recordings on Capitol and Prelude Records, a number of which hit on the Pop and R&B charts. As Vice-President of Worldwide Music for Concorde/New Horizons Pictures, she supervised music and negotiated contracts with composers and songwriters for over 50 films and served as the liaison between directors, producers and the company management.

Stuart Volkow, Board of Advisors

Stuart's career spans digital media, TV and Feature Film production. He produced and product-managed interactive and video programs for a division of the educational publisher ABC CLIO (www.abc-clio.com) (Intellimation) in Santa Barbara CA. He co-produced the 50^th Anniversary United Nations multi-media encyclopedia for Frankfurt Balkind Interactive. After graduating from the prestigious American Film Institute (AFI), he worked in feature film development and production at Phoenix Pictures Inc. under Chairman Mike Medavoy.
